Actually if your looking at the first pic in my original post , those were Hoosier Quicktime 295/60-15 , less than 12" wide x 29" tall . they do rub the stainless ( and probably more )
but were flat spotted to the cords as new tires , and how I ended up with them . The previous owner was flat towing his Camaro with these wheels and tires when it jumped in gear . Sold me these , and got something completely different . My kids play with them now .

I thought they were some kind of drag tires, I have a 1971 Cutlass and am running 225/70's right now. Just wondered, Thanks

I had the dealer emblem holes welded in. I will be putting a dealer emblem back on my car with 2 sided tape. The emblem i am putting on is a NOS emblem that my dad gave me from the dealership that he was a mechanic at back in the muscle car era. My dad is the reason i am into Oldsmobile's, so it's kind of a tribute to him. Plus the dealership he worked at was known around here to sell quite a few performance cars.

That's a tough call. I've never been a fan of the dealer advertising badges, but now they're nostalgia - you hardly ever see them anymore. Do what you want, but at the very least, save them and display them in your garage.

Oh, also, you need to make more room in your garage by trading me your GT-40 for my Cutty! I guess that won't give you more room, but at least you'd get that non-Olds scrap out of your garage.

I agree! I still have my "Crowsnest Pass Motors" dealer plate on mine. When I painted the car I told the shop I wanted it back on the car. It's the heritage for my car of a time gone by. All you get now is stickers.

As for cheap advertizing, you could say the same for RWL tires.

I agree with allyolds68. If you are undecided, weld the holes up, cut the studs off and keep them until you decide. If you put them on with tape, you can always pull em back off. I like them myself. I just paid $30 for an old vintage license frame from the selling dealer!
