1965 Oldsmobile Starfire Factory 4 speed for sale
For sale: 1965 Olds Starfire coupe. 1 of 122 ever made with a factory 4 speed. Has a 425ci engine. Car is very clean, and an older restoration. Paint could use a little buffing but still looks great as a 10 footer.
I have owned this car about 8 years now and it is time to thin my car corral. I recently lowered the car (stock springs included in sale) and put on the 18" wheels and tires. I can put factory 14" wheels and wire hubcaps if you prefer. We also put in new shocks and a new center link. This car drives straight as an arrow and floats down the road like a cloud. The 425 has gobs of torque and is so much fun to drive with t 4 speed. Oh, that reminds me...we also had the factory shifter rebuilt last month so its very tight and feels great. I'll be sad to see this one go, but I have other Olds to play with.
This is a stripped down Starfire ordered with almost zero options. It has power steering and brakes, that is about it. It has an aftermarket cassette deck in the dash, and the battery was relocated to the trunk by the previous owner. Judging by the odometer showing about 8k miles on it, I believe (but have no proof) that this car was ordered like this for the purpose of drag racing it back when it was new.
I am located near Roanoke, VA and can help the buyer arrange shipping at their expense.
Asking $40000 with the spare parts included.
Here is a link to the high res photos of it

Whats been done to the car is what you see. The main thing is the engine was modified by a previous owner with some port/polish work on the heads, bigger cam (unknown specs) and roller rockers. I added the valve covers ($900!!!) because the old Holley valve covers were cracked and leaked. I also had the shifter rebuilt. Other than that, I have installed a new center link, done an alignment, lowered the car and added the wheels and tires.
Stock 14" steel wheels come with the car, as well as the stock springs if you want to put it back to stock.
It has a Muncie 4 speed in it, and the cowl tag is properly denoted with M20 on it.
