I'm rounding the corner nearing completion of the (AT&T) Netflix 'Loudermilk' series. I think I'm on Episode 25(?) of 27/28(?). I found the series entertaining.

Norm, I just read August national doesn't have an official slope. So if/when we play, it won't change our handicap because we can't post it

Jim - Interesting I didn't know this. This means when we play neither you or I get a handicap so we're playing scratch golf?

Jim - Scheffler is going to win the RBC Heritage. I think there's a rain/thunderstorm delay in Wilmington. Back-to-back wins Masters + RBC Heritage for a tight little kitty of just over $7,000,000 smackers in two weeks (8 rounds) of golf. Tiger did this 18 years ago (2006).

Scottie's going to be a complete bag of nerves (I would be) if the game is further delayed until tomorrow. They restarted the match @ 7:00pm....fast running out of sunlight.

Not much going on here. They are expected to have the addition to our plant done in the the 3rd qtr. of 2025. Dozing up next to out building, vibrating the hell out of everything. The car and vacation give away that I previously mentioned runs 13 weeks, you have to work 50 or more hours per week.for 10 of the 13 weeks.

Too bad they didn't offer this over the Winter when there wasn't much else to do. I assume you're shooting for qualifying for a prize?

We barely reached half your temp. With a 20mph Northerly breeze we're struggling to remain above 50°F. Late spring Northerly blast.

Went to the dr after work. He seemed pleased, as was I. I lost 9 pounds, blood pressure was good, everything was good.

Beautiful here. Not warm enough to have the top down on the expressway, but damn hot when I got in the car. The top and interior are black, and the steering wheel and the shift **** get so hot I can't touch them. I'm gonna get a towel to put over the steering wheel and I think I'll swap out the shift **** for a white one. Then I'll tell everyone it has a Hurst shifter.

Norm the gas leak stands pat. The inside valve to the furnace is turned off, the water heater is on, the window is closed, and no gas smell. I'm waiting for the AC guy to get back to me.

Well the pressure is off, Monday is done. Slow wall guy at work, slow robot guy, it's the same every week. I get paid that's what counts.

I use a windshield shade, one of those fabric ones with a wire rim. It folds into a small circle that I can stuff between the seat and the console for secure storage and easy access. I have one in each of the vehicles. It not only keeps the sun off the steering wheel, but blocks the whole windshield so no sun is shining on the dashboard or into the vehicle interior.

Good morning everyone.

And I'm done! Read through the entire Good Morning thread. I fully recommend everyone do that. Good way to pass the time and it can be rather amusing. I'm just sorry I missed out on the first Good Morning thread.

Gonna be another nice one. Kenneth I thought about the window shade, not sure it would totally cure the problem. The inside of the car is dark and would soak up the heat anyway. Well, if it works for you out there it will certainly work for me. By the way, I looked up white shifter ***** and there is one that says Hurst on the side of it. It's only 88 dollars.

The lead is off today so things will go smoother, if not slower. That's okay, I have a few things to look up so this way I won't be disturbed by having to do work. I wonder how we stay in business sometimes.

Okay Tuesday awaits. Have a good day everyone.

Felt great to swing a golf club (on the range). First time in over one month (since surgery). Lesson(s) learned: Slow down, stand still (do not lunge), right arm pit tight w/ rib cage & maintain lag swing profile. My new (used) eBay 8-iron wasn't here in time to take to the range. Should be here today - need to put on a new grip (I have 3 or 4 on-hand).

Where's the luck. A week after I get my new car and a guy posts a 67 442 convertible for sale just north of me. He's posted this car before, don't know why it didn't sell then. I tell you what, I'd drive that car every day and everywhere. Chris you're the resident expert on 67 442's, look at the pictures and see what you think. It's also on marketplace if you want to have a look, it's in Cumming, Georgia.

Norm isn't nice to get back into the swing of things, literally and figuratively.

Jamesbo I used to know people in Chamblee, they lived in a nice, older neighborhood, but only a couple blocks from the expressway. Go up the street to the main street, and it was like a different world.

Mowed quite a bit at Mom's this afternoon. Now Tiger's feet can turn green. Got lots of work in the back yard to get to this summer, I really need to focus and get it done. It's actually a big yard when it's all grass.

Time to relax.

Mike - First and foremost, John (Koda) is much more of an expert than I am on '67's, he owns one too, and I wouldn't doubt Norm knows more than I do too, because he owned one at one time. I will say, if I had the garage space, I'd give full asking price for that car right now if it test drove OK! I wanted a 4-speed car when I was looking for mine, and couldn't find one in my price range, even after looking for almost 2-years. This car being both a 4-speed and a convertible, is rare, and highly desirable. Yes, it needs some work to be a show car, especially new paint, some interior work, and some engine bay work. If you bought it for what he's asking, and put $15K - $20K into it, you'd have a real gem! The owner has already put alot of work and $'s into it with lots of new parts. If I didn't own my 2 motorcycles, I would have already made an offer on it. I could kick myself right now for not being more proactive in testing the waters for selling my bikes. I don't think the car will last long with what he's asking for it, but I'll never be in a position to take advantage of a deal like this unless I get rid of my bikes. I'm gonna start making some calls tomorrow.

Edit - I was thinking of another car when I said this car is a convertible, it is not, it's a hardtop. Still a very good deal with the shape it's in and a 4-speed!

I was 16 yrs old when I purchased (1969) my first (ever) automobile - a 1967 Oldsmobile 4-4-2. Dad picked it out for me. It was absolutely plain Jane. Automatic bench seat owned by a woman (wife) of a friend of our family. Her husband wanted a larger more comfortable car for her so they traded in her 4-4-2 to our family's neighbor who owned an automobile dealership in Elgin, IL. I paid $1,695 for that car and financed it w/ my Dad co-signing. I had to get rid of it for only one reason. My monthly insurance payments were more than my monthly car payment. I loved that car - hated to se it go. Tons of great memories in that car - tons & tons.

EDIT: BTW, that 1967 4-4-2 was ordered from the dealership when the woman's husband first bought it for her in 1967.

The Pewter car? The 'vert is also a 4spd car. I see that I got the cars mixed up, the pewter one is in Wisconsin, Dr.Dan's blue convertible is in Ga. Both are 4 speeds.

Yes, I'm talking about the Pewter car. You're absolutely correct the vert for sale is also a 4-speed car, and that is where I got myself confused when posting about the Pewter car.
