Carb Re-build Question

Carb Re-build Question
Hi guys,
I need to have the carb in my '86 442 rebuilt. I've found a guy locally who can re-build it, but I'm not sure if I can just take off the cab - have the guy rebuild it - then bolt it back on.
In searching the internet I've read the the CCC carbs can often not be 'plug and play'. Any advice here? If I put the exact same same carb back on (after it's been rebuilt) will there need to be some additional tuning? I'm fairly certain this is Rochester E4MC cab on this '86, VIN9, 442.
Any advice is greatly appreciated as I have no experience with carbs...

Shops I have used actually run the carb on an engine after the rebuild before given back and do the setup so it should just be a bolt on procedure. Pictures and markings of vac lines are important before pulling carb.
