Exhaust Manifolds

Does anyone know which manifolds should be on a 68 442 with 455? What is on there now is an "X" manifold on the left side and a "Y"manifold on the right. I do believe the Y manifold is not the correct one. It is badly cracked and I am going to have to replace it. I think that "W" manifold should be correct. In the beginning process of the restoration of the 68 convertible.

Well after doing further research I found that the Y manifold is correct for the 68 afterall. It was specifically for 68 only. I should be able to use the W manifold.

Just from months of reading here on CO, I do believe you should have the X and Y manifolds. But I can't help with the W manifold, sorry.

X/Y are correct for 1968 only. If you are going to change, use the W/Z manifolds as a pair. The X/Y manifolds are open log designs. The W/Z are individual runner and will provide a small flow improvement.
