1970 - 72 Convertible Quarter Panels

I am getting ready to order sheet metal for my car. Been shopping around for best prices and found that Sherman and Goodmark are selling what they call full quarter panels. Restorationperformance.com actually sells both. They are listed as...

Goodmark - $506.95
4560-602-70R 70-72 Cutlass Supreme Convertible, Quarter Panel Oe-Style RH
Sherman - $389.95
795-51R Oldsmobile Cutlass 1968-72 - QUARTER PANEL RH

Quite a difference in price. Anyone have any experience with either of these?

They also sell deck lids for the convertible as well from both Sherman and Goodmark. The price isn't as off but would like to know if anyone has used these and how they fit.

Goodmark - $354.95
4560-700-702 70-72 Cutlass S 4-Door or Supreme Convertible, Trunk Lid
Sherman - $308.95
795-74 Oldsmobile Cutlass 1968-72 - TRUCK LID

Only story I have heard from someone who ACTUALLY had these full quarter pannels put on by a body shop was that the job is extensive and costs a fortune. The job may appear to some as a "take one off, bolt another one on" type of job, but in reality, according to him, the job entails much more time and money $$.

Rear quarters are never an easy project but it is still much better than trying to patch or do a 1/2 quarter and the results are always better. With the Chevelle there was only one supplier so I had to use what was available. This is the first time I have had a choice of two and would much rather select the one that is a better fit, even if it is that more costly option.

I was waiting to see if someone with more knowledge would be able to help you. I do not have experience with these quarters but they look very similar to the ones I purchased form Fusick. I am just about done with the restore on my 71. My quarters went on really good with minor adjustments (according to my shop) but they were more expensive $569 per. I also got a trunk lid from them and it looks great. You can see it under major builds. I did purchase a door skin that I believe came from Sherman (different distributor in Canada) and the quality was very good.

I bought Goodmark brand full 1/4s for my 70 SX Conv - paid about $400 each from Parts Place. I did my own and am an amateur - I was worried since some people said buy NOS, but they actually fit very well for repros- normal tweaking and trimming but in general went on easy. It was a big job anyway since I had to do outer wheelhouses, drop off pieces and patch the inners, replace trunk floors, etc. My body guy who painted the car said they looked good and were straight etc, for an "amateur" like me.

I ordered the goodmark quarters and deck lid. Still need to pick up the outer wheel houses and trunk drop off's but I may wait and get them at Spring Carlise.

Thanks to all for your help.
