The one.

THis is the car that I will have to redo the seams on the quarter panels. I just thoughtI would share before I dig it out and start over.

wow that looks alot like my f85 looks good black, and at least all four of your wheels are on.

Man that is a crying shame. Obvious there was a lot of love and attention went into that. Was sorry to hear about the problems you were having.

Who did all the airbrushwork on that car?! The clouds and sky look realistic! When you welded, did you weld the outside seam solid? (I know, dumb question, but was talking with a bunch of guys I know and we can't seem to figure out what happened).....does the seam show like a perfect line when it heats up? No breaks in it at all? The only time I've seen something like that is when we used to section header panels back in the day...no matter what we did with those things, the cut line always came back like a razor blade line!

The weld line is nearly perfectly straight. You can see every little short section where I welded it a little at a time. I ground it down with a little taper so there wasnt so much of a sharp edge to mud. I didn't warp it too bad and the filler is really not that thick. Maybe that's where the problem is. I don't know. I just want it right after all the work I have in it. Maybe it won't happen to anyone else.
