1946 Model 76 ****SOLD****

I am going to have to sell the '46. Recently rebuilt strong 455 with TH400 transplanted into it. Photos of it in my gallery and in my threads about it on this site. Licensed, insured, and driven until last fall. I just put the battery back in it and took it for a spin this week. Started up fine. Carb was rebuilt by Danny Sarvis and works excellent.

$4,000 obo

Dan: Sorry you are having to sell the '46. Wish I had the time/money/storage/knowledge to work on it!!! Sounds like a very fair price, and hope someone in the Old's community jumps on it!

Thanks guys. Long story made short. 15 years with a company ain't no guarantee, I was laid off so have to look for new work. Decided now is the time to make a geographical move to Oklahoma close to my son, daughter in law and grand daughter in Lawton. Also decided to keep the Cutlass and sell the '46 as it will make the move that much easier when the time comes.

I know a lot of people have lost their jobs, their homes or both. I'll be really glad when this economy finally turns around!

At least you'll be closer to family, so something good is coming out of this. When you get your feet back under you, if you want we'll help you find another project car! John

A guy looked at it last night and offered me $3500, I couldn't turn it down and he is picking it up tomorrow. Glad it is going to a nice home.
