1967 442 4-speed convertible

Factory triple saffron., 4 speed, ac, ps,pdb ( converted to single piston but have all the 4 piston stuff), tilt column, rally pack, outside remote mirror. Car had rusty floors rear quarter and partial trunk pan. It has a brand new one piece AMD floor and right and left trunk pan sections that I am finishing on it so it can be mounted back on the frame. I bought a nice frame as the original frame was rusted the engine and transmission rebuilt before I got it and run really good. Has the correct engine, cylinder heads, intake, carburetor, distributor. All the brakes and brake lines are brand new. I bought a custom-made saffron top from heartz that needs to be installed after the top frame is painted the correct gold color which I have the paint for. I’ve got way too much going on in my life to continue this project but I will have all the floor and the welding done and the underneath painted and back on the frame with new body mounts within a couple of weeks. The car will need complete interior top installed body and paint. Decklid is rust free, the hood is very straight and very nice with only a couple of very tiny holes in it. The doors and Fenders need to be replaced. I had the body dustless blasting to see white was good white was not. The driver side quarter panel is very straight it just needs some rust repair around the wheel lip and the rear lower section the trunk drop offs are A little weak but I have a pair of trunk drop offs that have no rust 15k firm. No “ would you takes” or other appraisal comments please.

Brakes are all new, I mean everything.

Updated with more pics. New floor is in, sealed, painted then I added the overspray on the floor the best I could using the original photos I took when disassembling it. Steering box is original and rebuilt to a fast unit. Car will stop start and steer Friday. I’m gonna give it a little bit then keep moving on. And with that…. Price goes up.

That's a great deal on a rare color combo car. Can't believe it's still available.

I’m in Cumming Georgia about 40 miles north of Atlanta. I epoxy primed the decklid and drivers 1/4 Friday. Everything else that’s bare metal will be epoxy primed soon as to put the cat in storage. Going to clean/ paint the core support and install with radiator to make sure it has antifreeze before going into storage. Of course I didn’t prime the lower section as it needs replaced

Doors, core support, radiator, condenser are re installed. Bought all the right hoses clamps etc from Fusick a long with a good used radiator. RF inner fender well painted, attached to replacement fender and will be re installed in a couple days. AC evaporator core box was disassembled, cleaned thoroughly and put back together and will be installed Monday. I’m getting this thing back together as a running/ driving car to get on eBay unless it sells before that. I will ad more pics next week

Car now has good used exhaust from a 67 442 twin. This thing runs good. Going to drive it around the parking lot at work tomorrow. Next Thursday will go on eBay and into storage until it sells. Price has went up $1,200.

right now $16,200. The car needs a gas tank power steering hose and the fuel lines connected. The reproduction fuel lines I received are of poor quality but I’m going to make them work so it can run on its own gas tank. Keep in mind I am putting this car back together pretty much as it was before so I can get all the parts on it so you have a better understanding of what you would be buying if you did. The next thing I will do is take to use quarter panels I have and cut out the sections that I need to repair around the wheel lifts. I also have a guy that has the lower quarter sections that need to be replaced on the car. If I go that route of course the price goes up again

Should have power steering hose this week and may be able to get the lower 1/4 sections. If I personally repair the 1/4’s correctly , primer, block and final prime, the price jumps way up. I’m hoping Thursday to try it on eBay

Going to get ready to repair the rear 1/4’s, then price goes up again. They will be repaired with good used metal, sanded, filler, blocked and primered

It's a damn shame nobody sees the rareity and value of this car. Have you thought about a demolition derby?
