1967 Cutlass 442 Convertible For Sale
SOLD
My father was an avid Oldsmobile enthusiast. He passed away in 2017 leaving many unfinished projects. I am selling his 1967 442 convertible. My knowledge of this car is very limited but I am listing what little I know about it. He was in the process of restoring the car to its original condition. When he purchased the car it was painted blue with a black interior and automatic transmission. Per the cowl tag on firewall, the car was originally pewter with red interior and manual transmission (there’s a hole for 4 speed shifter) and tilt steering. Another classicoldsmobile.com member was kind enough to give me the following info based on the cowl tag:
Group 2 L is M20 4spd, G is D55 console
Group 3 U has been seen before but I don't have a record of what it means
Group 4 F is remote outside mirror
Group 5 V is W29 442 package, M(?) is A68 center seat belt.
Most paint has been stripped off. I accidently sold the front seats for this car before I realized they were for this car so there are no front seats. I found boxes containing red door panels and carpeting, new aftermarket. I am selling these with the car. The car has been sitting in a damp garage for several years and there is rust on the frame and under the car. A friend of my father’s thinks he bought a frame for this car for this reason. I am selling this frame with the car (see comments section for photos). Another member asked about heads. I found what I think may be the heads for this car (or that may be used with this car) and will include them as well (see comments section for photos). I have a hood that is in rough shape but is the correct type of hood for this car so I will sell it with this car. I am not able to list many photos in the ad itself so I will try to list additional photos in the comments section below. If you have any questions that I am not able to answer, I will do my best to find the answers for you.
I HAVE CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME.
Car is located in Charleston, WV 25314
Asking price $3500 USD in cash.
Message me if interested, serious inquiries only please.
Photos taken in June/October/November 2020, more available upon request.
If you would like more photos please include your email address.
