1967 Olds 442 (not mine)
I saw this while searching Craigslist. It's pretty rough but thought someone may be interested.

I always take the time to post the actual ad. Yes it is a little work but Iike posting ads before it shows up at one of the sketch high dollar dealers volo. At least we have the details here. Good on the seller not asking stupid money and admitting what it is.
NOTE: the long straight part of the frame that run along side of the car are pretty bad
1967 Olds 442, 99% straight metal body, no bondo. Non original engine (350 Rocket).
Turnpike cruiser option. Cruise, ac, sway bars, buckets, console, etc.
Non running, stored for 20+ years. All good glass.
Good for restoration, parts, or race car.
Will not part out at this time.
Clean Ohio title. Title and both body tags match.
59,000 miles shown, exceeded.
Asking $1700 or best offer, first come first serve
Email through craigslist, text or call
Will not respond to "is it still available"
740-616-nine six seven six
Probably a great deal as a parts car.

Turnpike Cruiser, in 67, was a Cutlass Supreme package that included a 2 barrel Rocket 400, a th400, a 2.56 rear end, the Climactic Combustion Control air cleaner system, and some other stuff. 442, in 67, was a Cutlass Supreme package that included a 4 barrel Rocket 400 and a minimum 3.08 rear end. CCC was available if you wanted it. Cruise control was a stand alone option available on Cutlass Supremes, Turnpike Cruisers, 442s and other cars.
The car in the ad is a 442, badged as a 442, with a 442 cowl tag, and a manual transmission. It absolutely is not a turnpike cruiser, regardless of the cruise control, which might be a factory unit itself.
