Exclamation 1968 Oldsmobile 442

1968 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible

You don't see a ton of custom 442 Oldsmobiles rolling down the road but when done right these cars can easily get more attention then the other muscle cars sitting around them. This very nicely restored 1968 442 Tribute Convertible has a unique two tone look that always sets it apart in the crowd. It immediately grabs on lookers attention and everyone has to come check it out. During the total restoration it was painted a combination of Copper and Black that looks really sharp. This is then paired with a brand new power top that raises/lowers just as it should. It is done in black cloth with a glass rear window. All of the chrome work and trim is in place and all has a clean finish. American racing torque thrust wheels grace all four corners and have the added knock off style center caps for a very cool look.

This classic is all muscle car and has the drivetrain to back it up. The fully rebuilt high performance 350 V8 motor runs extremely well and provides plenty of power. The block and heads are painted like the Copper on the body and are topped with chrome valve covers and circle air cleaner for a nice finished look. Combined with the Turbo 350 automatic transmission you have a very reliable drivetrain that utilizes parts that are extremely easy to come by. Power steering and power disc brakes are in place and working as they should.

The interior of the car is completed in black upholstery with the correct 442 bucket seats. The original style center console is mounted between the seats and features like that can be tough to come by. A tilt steering column is mounted in front of the driver and topped with a original style steering wheel. The original gauges are in place and working but a second gauge pod was added below the dash for oil, temp, amp gauges.

This is a very nicely built classic and you don't see them done in this style very often. Don't miss your opportunity to take this custom muscle car for a spin!
