Meh... Still for sale, but now the wife doesn't want me going out of State to find a Delta.

Sorry Dave...

No worries at all. Thanks for the interest.

What? Why not? It's not like you're going to MOVE there!

I live in Ohio and bought one car out of West Virginia, which is admittedly next door, and the other out of Florida, which is most certainly not next door. After all, how does one get a "Florida" or "rust free southern car" without going to those areas of the country? If I had to limit myself only to cars found for sale within my own state, I might as well take up stamp collecting instead!

Jaunty where you been? I haven't seen your name pop up for a long time. I guess I haven't been hanging in the right circles.

This is a thin disguise which really means, I don't want you to buy a Delta.

Now, when you do find a Delta close to home, the story will change. But the outcome will be the same, no Delta.

Just my observations.

"I don't want you to buy a Delta?", or I don't want you to buy anything?

I'm sure his wife doesn't care that it's a Delta 88, or something else, that she doesn't want him to have.

I think you are right. With a ridiculous statement such as "don't go out of state to buy a Delta" that probably does mean any car. Too bad.

That is a nice car, Dave, maybe this summer if you still have it we can talk. So much for your quick sale.

Nope. It was her idea for me to look for another one. Had one in High School many, many moons ago.

I may have a lead on another one though. Not a convertible, but a good looking chunk of rolling stock nonetheless...
