1970 Rallye 350 Survivor

UPDATED: $33,000 and ALL NOS parts including with the car. List of parts below.

Listing a survivor 1970 Cutlass S Rallye 350 for sale. The car was purchased new from Vernon Motor Products in Vernon, British Columbia and comes with full GM of Canada documentation. The car recently entered the states for the first time in January 2023. The car retains its original paint with very little rust. The original born with engine block, transmission, rear end, carb, alternator, and distributor are all intact. Factory 3.42 posi rear uniquely ordered with front bucket seats, no console, and an automatic on the column. The current mileage is 74,481. The car starts on the first crank and runs / drives without issue and I’ve had it on two 50+ mile road trips. Original markings are everywhere on this car as it’s truly a time capsule that has been impeccably preserved throughout the years. Brand new reproduction Goodyear Polyglas G70-14s on all four corners plus the original Polyglas spare tire in the trunk. The interior is near mint with the exception of a minor split on the LH bucket seat bottom in the middle and the upper seam. The factory AM radio is not currently working. All rubber weather-stripping is original to the car.

Rallye 350 production concluded in April of 1970. This car was built 04/01/1970 and could very well be one of the last ones assembled - perhaps, even one of the last Rallye 350 cars exported to Canada.

In February 2023, I had the entire underside and engine compartment professionally dry ice blasted. The dry ice revealed factory markings on the gas tank, driveshaft, front suspension components, and engine oil pan. This dry ice process removed all road debris that had been accumulated throughout the years and a metal protectant was applied to the bare metal to ensure preservation. The factory sebring yellow paint was recently cut and polished. There are a few minor dents that can easily be removed. The RH rear quarter panel behind the door has received minor body work that is starting to show its age. Per the original owner, the car hit a snow bank in 1973 and needed repair. Original pictures and documentation / registration from 1972 are also included as well as all service records.

The car also comes with the factory washer jar (replacement installed as a request from a prior Canadian DMV inspection) and original fuel pump.

I have accumulated most of the correct NOS parts to make the car 100% including NOS head pipes, NOS muffler, NOS tailpipes with trumpets, AC Delco fuel pump #40713, NOS A366C air filter, rear spiral shocks dated 1970, EB master cylinder and NOS spark plug wires and spark plugs. These items are NOT included but available to the buyer at an additional cost. This Rallye 350 was accepted in to the exclusive MCACN Vintage Certification for November 2023, and that’s where it’ll be assessed providing it does not sell this summer.

With the birth of my second daughter, I simply do not have the time for all the cars like I once did so I’m looking to find a new caretaker for this Rallye 350.

Asking $33,000 or reasonable offer.

The factory trim rings are in the trunk.

Survivor's are just the coolest. I hope whoever buys it keeps it that way. What a cool car. Good luck with the sale. Cool cool car. I dig the buckets and column shift.

Wow, good looking car.

Someone had trim rings on the wheels at some point.

I didn't think they came originally with rings? Personally, I prefer them.

Rallye 350 cars didn't come with trim rings correct?

Yeah, that was what I thought. It's why I made the comment about someone installing trim rings on those pretty wheels.

The above picture of options lists PO6 as wheel trim ring option, some of the early pics show them on the car also.

Received a few questions regarding the tires. They're brand new Goodyear Polyglas tires.

Such an awesome car. I hope it goes to someone who will preserve it. I keep looking at it but I know I would end up putting in a floorshif and console and have it painted. It is too nice of an example to sell it to an idiot like me

Had the car out all week. Drives incredibly well for an original car. No issues whatsoever! If the NOS head pipes and NOS trump tailpipes don't sell at Homecoming, I'll be installing them on this car because it truly deserves them. Car is still available at $33,500 or reasonable offer.

For those that sent me a PM last week asking if I'll have the car at Homecoming, I've decided to bring the car. I've deleted my messages so please resend me your PM so we can coordinate times. Thanks

Homecoming

The Rallye caught a LOT of attention at the show yesterday. The car drove great without issue all weekend in Lansing. I even took it down I-496 to the Olds Admin building for a photo op. For now, the car is still available INCLUDING the NOS parts for $33,500. The parts that would come with it are as follows:
NOS tailpipes
NOS head pipes
NOS D106 points
NOS AC Delco R45S Acniter spark plugs
NOS lower radiator hose
NOS AC Delco fuel pump
NOS PCV valve
NOS OAI motor rivet and retainer
NOS A366C air filter
NOS exhaust clamps and bolts
NOS RH door outer fuzzy
reproduction spark plug wires
reproduction fan belt

It never ceases to amaze me that strong original cars like this sit as we all watch fake junk sell for way too much all day long. 🤯
