1972 Olds Cutlass $18.5k. Not mine. Link as follows: 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass orig 350 COLD AC P/disc VERY STRAIGHT n... (craigslist.org)

"DESCRIPTION: Very good looking 1972 Olds Cutlass with vintage AC and heat, new front suspension, new rear diff control bars, new power front disc brakes, new flowmasters and much more. This car has never had rot or rust anywhere! Look at the floors and trunk (trunk has very light surface rust from condensation from the trunk mat) and see how clean they are! Paint is very nice and straight with minimal wear except some light clear peel on the hood and was finished 6 years ago in it's original color of Viking blue. The car has the original matching 350 engine and turbo 400 automatic transmission and a 10 bolt rear. The stereo system is very strong and cost $2000 with amps and speakers professionally installed and it is very clear and loud. The car runs and drives excellent on it's Oldsmobile rally wheels and newer exc tires. In the trunk is the original exhaust manifolds (headers recently installed from previous owner with flowmaster exhaust) and spare tire, jack and tire iron as well. Thanks for looking."

The car has the original matching 350 engine and turbo 400 automatic transmission…” could you order a 350 with a 400 tranny back then or is the seller stating just a matching engine only? Nice looking car.

Car is not a steal, there's a lot of things wrong with it. If buyer does not care, then it's a fair price.

X3. 18 Grand I don't see as a steal. Looks clean but...
Everyone's Oldsmobile is worth huge money now. See what the market says?? Exactly why I have learned to dislike auction cars and the Fools that pay too much for lame cars.

In 1975 I bought a 1970 Cutlass S from the original owner. 350, TH 400 and 12 bolt rear, cutout bumpers, bench seat on the column .Don't believe everything the literature says, back then there myriad combos sold that were "never available".

More than likely, the transmission was replaced or swap. Everyone thinks they have a one of none from the factory.

You could not build a car in that condition for $18k, I think it's a very fair price for what it is.

It's already sold so someone thought it was a good deal as well.
