Geeze... for that price you'd think they would at least have the correct stripes and H/O emblem on the trunk lid, not to mention the landau top. All cars had the vinyl top, looks odd without one... just my opinion.

Thanks for that information. I did not know that they all came with a top. Now that you mention it though I get it. Everyone is jumping the high price on Oldsmobile's these days.

See honestly. I would always rather buy a car that is not over built. I would take your car over the other all day long.

Is that a 74 on the right?

I think that price is strong money for that car.

My friend in Texas has a '72 H/O without the vinyl top, and claims it came that way from the dealer.
The for sale car has the same strips and decal that came on my '72 sun roof H/O.

Maybe they should have spent some of those 2000 hours on something other than a new exhaust

That picture reminds me of the 2014 hoca nationals. It rained at the track that day.

That's where the photo was taken.
They bought the car from a used car dealer, so obviously someone didn't like the vinyl top previously.

I may actually be in that photo in one of the 84s, lol.

The vinyl tops died quickly, they were not UV rated vinyl. Repros are all over the place in terms of wire molding and color. Mine is pure white and I like it like that.

You’d think they’d make use of the cut out rear bumper at least

I should have never sold that car. One of the nicest driving ones I've owed... with working ac and cruise!

Some dealers built their own 72 H/O like the one I bought in Wash St years ago I tried to join the H/O club they said yes it is a H/O but not on their reg. So YES it could have been built without the top installed. Mine came with the Speed Way tires in trunk
