1973 Oldsmobile 98 LS 70,000 original miles - $13,500 (Oshkosh)

CAR HAS BEEN SOLD!

For Sale: 1973 Oldsmobile 98 LS, Car has 70,000 original miles and the 455 runs great! Car had a 2 stage repaint done about 5 years ago (previous owner) and looks very nice. Has most all options on the car and everything works great. New exhaust system tires and upgraded A.C. system. Drives like a dream, getting rid of it because I bought another 98 with 30,000 original so this one has to go. Any questions please call or text me. 12,500 OBO 920-312-4131

Thanks for looking

Greg

Nice looking machine. I thought only 4 door sedans were LS, hense the luxury sedan.

It has a turbo 400 tranny in it and as far as gearing goes i have no idea i'm sure its pretty low, 2 something. These were made for cruising not a burnout machine LOL

Pretty sure that one isn't stock. OP's car looks absolutely mint with no visible signs of rust anywhere. Wish I could justify buying it. GLWS

Usually any video like that is "I JUST BOUGHT THIS THING YEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAW!!!!!!!" then it's dead a month later.

I had a 73 455 88 ragtop that could do that easily bone stock w 2.93 gearing. After I went thru the engine and stuffed 3.42s out of a Riviera under it, the car became a mild street terror. Mustangs gave it wide berth after it mauled a couple.

I've done a couple smoke shows with my 76 Regency too. All about that 455 torque baby!

I wish w31's 98 was a Custom Cruiser. I'd like to find a nice clamshell, since the 83 CC has turned up its toes.

That guy from the video has a pretty nice iron head 455 build in that car. He has quite a few other videos on youtube of that car. He likes to take it to what looks like a half mile asphalt oval track for street car one lap grudge races. Beats up on a lot of lighter cars. He wheels the daylights out of that boat.

Look up Terry Gilomen on YouTube. He has some great videos and they're mostly big Oldsmobiles powered by Olds engines. The 73 98 kicks major *** at the spectator races.

I don't want to detract any further from the sale of the original poster. He has an impressive car that stands on its own merit. Sorry for the distraction, but the 98 in those videos is legit.

No I still own it, had several people interested but no offers as of yet. I just got it put away for the winter here, let me know if you have any questions about it.

Thanks Greg

Didn’t work when I got it turns on but has alot of static I tried a different antenna same results. I haven’t fixed it cause I use a Bluetooth speaker when I drive it. I am the 3rd owner of this car that I know of.

That thing is such a pimp wagon. Wish I had room for it. I'd drive it to work on nice days.

My first car was a 72 98 same color Cranberry Red. I loved that car

That's when I fell in love with Oldsmobile's!

That is a nice ride.
