71 Delta 88 Royal Convertible

i just picked this car up. it sit for many years. i got it running and drives. shifts through the gears good. needs major restoration. the hood trunk lid and driver side door are very nice. the passenger door will not open but the best i can tell it looks nice also. the trunk wheel houses and trunk pan are very nice. there is rust in the quarters and front fenders. the brakes need work, it can't be driven home. they work but not good at all. i did drive it 4 miles today and going to take it out again but this is out in the country. it is loaded with options. power disc brakes, speedminder (works), PW, PDL, power trunk, seats, tilt, SSIV wheels (all 5), cruise, 455 2bbl. i ran the A/C and it made the suction line get cold but the fan don't work to blow cold air in the interior. i can e mail more pictures. i can deliver for the price of gas up to 100 miles but my truck only gets 10 MPG pulling a trailer. $1500

here are some other pics. under the door is nice but does have some pitting in the middle. then 2 from the trunk. one is where the wheel house meats up with the floor pan. it is very solid there. the floor pans are not as solid as the trunk pan but still not needing replaced. i think there is a small spot that is through in the middle of both back floors. i will have to look again but think they are still mostly solid. the frame is very solid from what i looked at it so far. it does need a major restoration. some of the power options don't work but i think it is mostly from needing a good cleaning and some grease. the seats need recovered.

Hello,

Please PM me as well with asking price - and would you be able to store for a while if paid in full?

i will PM you tonight. if you want more pictures send me your e mail address. the only place i can store it is outside with a tarp. that is part of the reason why i would like to sell it before winter. i was going to attempt to get it in my barn but i am scard it will fall down the next big wind storm.

here are tons of pictures. i will later get better pictures from under the car.
SS IV wheels
power windows, seat, and locks don't work
power trunk
speed minder
power disc brakes, brakes work but need to be worked on, the peddle sticks down and you have to pull it up by hand
cruise control
A/C has a good charge and turns on but the interior fan don't work to see how cold it will get.
windshield is bad
defrost back glass
tilt
i can deliver up to 500 miles for $1 per mile one way.

Thanks for your effort, but will pass on the hitch. would love to have it, but that's too much for me right now. the car should make a nice restoration project for someone.

just got the title back from the BMV. it is in my name now. i tried to start it last night and now it won't start. i may work on it a little this weekend. when i get it running again i plan to post it on eBay so it may be the last chance. i am going to post it there with an opening bid of $1400 with no reserve so if you want it i will take $1400 now.

That looks to be a very restorable car and the price is right. Eric is a good guy to deal with also. Love those wheels on that car. This thing would make a cruiser. Somebody save it.

i would like your opinion on my eBay add.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...55.l2649#v4-42

i never listed a car on eBay and not that good at describing a car. if you see something real bad or wrong let me know. you won't hurt my feelings so be honest.
