Actually, Allan, J-Chicago is correct here. "GVWR" is the "gross vehicle weight rating," which is the maximum allowable total weight of a vehicle when loaded (weight of fuel, passengers, cargo, and trailer tongue weight if towing).

According to "Setting the Pace," the weight of a 1983 98 Regency Coupe is 3,831 lbs, of a Regency Sedan is 3,885 lbs, and of a Brougham Sedan is 3,927 lbs. The 5,150 lbs figure on your sticker indicates that these cars could carry about 1200 lbs.
