This car was purchased new, by my grandmother, in 1968 and lived in California until I moved it to MN 20 years ago and had it fully restored. Body and paint job, new rims/tires, interior and new top (electric). The engine is the original 350 small block engine, but we did add 4 barrel carb with dual exhaust. It runs great - except for minor slipping of the transmission in 1st gear when cold - I consulted a mechanic who said as long as you are only putting a few hundred miles a year on it, tranny should last a long time. I have not driven it more than 100 miles a year since it has been restored - 124,000 actual miles total. While in MN it has been stored in heated garage for all winters.
