Trade MOPAR for Olds? Any interest at all?
Any MOPAR fans on here? Just gauging interest in a possible trade. My car is a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback, almost completely mechanically restored and 95% cosmetically restored. Much more information, receipts and pictures available for any interested parties.
Looking for a 1970-72 Oldsmobile 442, (documented W-30 would be a plus, but not necessary and likely a dream). Would love a four speed hard top. I have a weak spot for gold, blue and green cars. The car should be equally clean as mine. I value my car at a strong $18k and would like an equal value trade.

It's a rebuilt 360 made to look like a 273 Commando. The car is an original A/C car, but the underhood components are gone. The car is slated for a Vintage Air system this summer, so I saw no use in rebuilding the old stock stuff. Heater core is in need of replacement and currently bypassed.

Thanks and I appreciate your honesty. I hold this car in high regard because of the sheer amount of money I have in the restoration and the quality of the work that was done thus far. If I was to sell the car outright, I'd be asking more in the $16k range. I know every part on this car has been rebuilt, replaced, upgraded, powdercoated, painted, or restored. A trade is a relative unknown, so I place a higher value when trading. This was only a feeler to see if I'd get any bites. I love this car and my Olds fix is being satisfied by my '70 right now, so I'm doing alright.

A Mopar and and Olds! You have the best of both worlds. I really like the 68/69 Barracuda's. They seem to take a back seat to the 70 and up, so seeing one restored to the level of your car is very refreshing. I like the color combo as well.

Thank you! Yeah, I agree. The 70-71 'Cuda E-body platform outshines the earlier A-bodies in price and notoriety. The styling of those cars was so over the top and so "70's muscle car," that some guys don't even know they made a Barracuda prior to '70. The color is close to a stock Bronze color that was available, but it's now a 2007 Nissan color "Brownish Orange Metallic"

A friend of mine drove one of these in high school that was a formula S model. I recall it as a solid lifter 273, a four speed stick, and posi. It was tire burning and a very fast little machine. Good luck in finding a trade for your car.

455Olds: You have one fine looking 1967 Barracuda Fastback. Very clean. It looks like you could eat off the engine. I have always admired the 67 to 69 Barracudas.
They were the right size car. The handling has to be awesome.

I happen to have a 1967 Delta 88 Custom. I'm sorry by I can't trade you because your car doesn't have enough back seat or trunk space.
I love my interior room and my fresh 455 - 4 barrel!

Jaybird: The car handles incredibly well for a car its age. The shocks, struts, springs, and sway bars are all upgraded, as well as a fast ratio steering box. The car corners FLAT as can be with almost no body roll, and really takes the twists and turns well. Thanks for the kind words, and NICE Delta! That's a land yacht that really hauls ***.
