1971 Cutlass Supreme: guidance on removing rear window trim

There's a tool for releasing the trim clips, but you can usually make do with a putty knife. Plenty of videos on Youtube demonstrating how to release them.
What needs to be resealed? There's no seal for the trim, just the adhesive used for the glass. If the window is leaking, you're best off taking it to a glass shop to have it dealt with properly, and be prepared to deal with rust in the window frame...

If you got the brand that I did be prepared for the rubber on the handles to slip somewhat, not affecting their efficiency but kind of irritating. I ran a drop of cyanoacrylate down between the handle and the grip.
