71-72 Cutlass bumper guard rubber
#2
Well, the Challengers' rubber was too short; glad I didn't buy them. I did buy 2 NOS 1973 MonteCarlo front strips and managed to rebend them and make them work.
I had to drill an extra hole in the steel support for one stud to get to the nut securing it, but the new rubber with 4 studs fit all of the slots on the front face of the bumperette
which was good. These strips may be a bit wider then the originals; they are as wide as the front face of the bumperette. I didn't have an original rubber piece to compare
them with and I think they look good.
