Frame swap

Hey All
As in an earlier post I was looking at swapping a 71 H/T frame to a 70 Convert. (Cutlass) After further inspection I think I'll cut out the frame section I need and put it in the 70. My question is, I'd like to use the front discs brakes off the 71. Outside of the spindles will I need to change A arms and the other front end parts ?????

Thanks

Here's a link to a post Joe make a while back. I found it helpful, read through it and see if it answers your questions. John

Just keep in mind that the convertible frames are boxed for strength. The H/T frames are not.
If the part(s) you cut out from your 'vert' are boxed, then you must replace them with boxed sections to keep the structural integrity of the car...

Thanks rob Hence my change of mind. The repair is just under the trunk floor starting behind where the frame kicks up.

also john That is a great help

Again this is a great group. This is my first Olds build and you've been a great help.
