steering column

steering column

has anybody ever put an ididit steering column on a 74 delta vert, the reason is when i bought the car the people had vice grips on the spline instead of steering wheel and its striped, I cannot find a steering column so i wanna go with an ididit any suggestions would be preciated.

The steering column from any 1971-76 GM B-body or C-body car should work. That's Caprice, Bonneville, Electra, and Delta 88 and 98. I would be surprised if you can't find one for significantly less money than a new one-size-fits-none column.

oh ok i was just looking for 74 delta's Im sure i can find one then, thank you sir you just saved me alot of money...

oldspakrat just parted out a 74 vert at a junkyard, he may have a column

I just pulled out a regular column yesterday and put in a tilt column.

Where are you?
