Washer Hose route

Washer Hose route
Someone in the past routed the washer hose the wrong way, ( I think).
I think it should go through the hood right to left with a hood hose holder on the right side. So I thought I could put it back the right way, but I can't move the hose in the hood. It looks like there may be a plate that comes off to get access to the hose. I hope the pictures help explain what I'm talking about. So how do you feed the hose through the hood. Thanks Ron.

Wiper Hose
I have attached a picture of the hose routing from the 1969 Cutlassfactory service manual found at http://wildaboutcarsonline.com.
From your pictures, I'd agree the lines are installed backwards through the hood. I pulled mine out to replace and found they had a blob or two of caulk or other adhesive on them. Just pull on the existing line and it should come free. If you are replacing the lines, just tape a length of new hose to the existing one and feed it through the holes as you pull the old one out.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to pull the hose toward the driver side and it would not move.
I thought I could use the hose that's in the hood, Just slide it out far enough to put it in the pump and then pump it the opposite way to the pass side.
Well I may try again,It sure is tight and I thought I would ask first before forcing it to much. There seems to be a plate on the hood just above the
hose, I wonder if that comes off.
Ok! I'll give it another try. Ron.
