Lost another of the poets of songwriting. Had a stroke at 81 yrs. Had an 8th grade education and a good christian raisin'.

JJW and BJS within the same week. A hard week indeed. I suppose he gets to be with Eddie (Shaver, not Van Halen) now. His legacy and lyrics will “live forever”!
