G body shuffle??? 🙄
What’s the origin or story behind this stupid phrase???
I have owed and driven lots of stout G bodies, none of them felt any different while burning off the tires than any other car.

I'm pretty sure it's derived from the flimsy frame flex, once hooked up on the track. It won't show during a burnout or with a properly built rollbar/cage. It needs to be loaded.

I personally have never had a really fast G body, fastest one I owned ran mid 12s.
I have several friends with mini tubbed g bodies in running in the 10s, I never noticed anything unusual. I suppose the roll bars might make the a difference.
Just curious where the phrase started.

I thought it was how the chassis reacted when going into corners aggressively. Stock plain Gbods without the F41 suspension stuff would sway a good bit.
Could be wrong on this, but buying stuff like UMI full up suspension upgrades gets rid of the "shuffle". And stiffening the frame like Bruce said...
