Well, I have 4 cars - 3 classic and one daily - and I am out of space.

I am for sure selling the Chebby - Chevelle's are a dime a dozen, and not too sexy - I like the 98 convertible a lot, but this car has re-ignited my burning desire for a Cutlass Supreme convertible I have had since childhood.

Actually, I guess the next question is SS1s? (I think so) Redline tires? (most definitely)

Were is a good resource for someone to check out in adjusting the q-jet? It seems extremely rich, and bogs a bit upon acceleration.

Also, does anyone have an idea of the color name for the top? It is blue, as per stock, but I can only find Cadet Blue and Ford Blue regarding blue convertible tops.

Here is a pic I took today in the sunlight



It is a mediocre pic, thanks to iPhone, but not too bad. I did make the executive decision to keep those wheels, but the body shop is painting them the crystal blue to match the car. I like those rims, and even though they aren't original or anything, those rims pained to match the body will look pretty good, I believe. And if I don't like them, I can always get SS1s or even original wheels and hubcaps.

tough decision I'm sure, I meant it kind of tongue in cheek, as we all have our favorite cars but this car is great looking. I like the SSIIs on the car, leave it for now and spend the money on other items, as you say you can always change the wheels later, that's the easy part. As for top color the only info I have from 67 is it says color available Blue (code 4) of course you can go with White or Black as well. White on blue really sets the car about and it is ok to have a blue interior with white top though many folks like the top to match the interior.

Why can't the cars keep looking as good as the day they come out of the paint booth? Really nice and the blue top looks good too. I think the car would look really nice with steel wheels, original wheel covers and red line tires...

Here it is complete - sides and front - for inspection. I had the painter paint the wheels to match the car for $200. A new top is next - probably going to put a white one on, as I think that will look the best, even though it wouldn't be stock.







I should've had the bumpers re-chromed while it was being restored! That is to come.
