65 cutlass driveshaft
I would like to install a type o diff in my 65. Using a 200 4r. Wondering if the driveshaft length would be the same, shorter or longer. It would use a different u joint correct? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

What transmission WAS in the car?
You have to help us out a little here.
200r4 usually the same length as a 350TH and takes the same slip yoke.
If you had a 400th ...then your going to have drive shaft length issues.
2 speed trans ...again likely might be the same as a 350th so no issues...I am not familiar with the 2 speed auto trans lengths.

X2 Monzaz- I rebuilt ( sandblasted, powder coated with new U-joints) and used the 330 2-speed Jetaway trans driveshaft for my 64 F-85 build with a modified 200-4R with a 67 400E. No problem other than moving the trans cross bar back a little and I believe I had too buy a different parking brake cable-double-check that it's been a while.

The 200-4R, Jetaway, and Muncie transmissions are all about the same length. The concern is the pinion flange-to-axle centerline dimension of the rear axle. I'm not sure how a Type O compares to the 8.2 BOP axles.
