i have found everything on summit, to rebuild my rear end, pinion, ring , 373,, is this possible , reason i ask is because ,i heard there was nothing over 355 gears., thanks for any info, on this sbject , thanks much, will.

Your 1965 full size would have come from the factory with the 8.875" Pontiac axle. That's a ten bolt cover and 12 bolt ring gear. It is NOT the Chevy 12 bolt axle. I'll be amazed if Summit carries anything for that axle.
Their listings for 1965 Starfire rear axle incorrectly show the Chevy 12 bolt. This axle was never used in the Starfire and these parts won't fit your axle. Once again, Summit, RockAuto, Jegs, etc are nearly ALWAYS wrong in their listings for Oldsmobile parts.

Ditto, 8.2 Pontiac 10 bolt yes
12 bolt chevy yes (8.875 ring size but totally different pinion shaft size and ring gear bolt size and maybe pattern.
8.875 Pontiac FULL SIZE car---- NO WAY !
You can not get ANY GEARS for that rear at all... Fabcraft was the only company reproducing the 3.55 gear set...And they are not even doing that one anymore .

IF YOU HAVE THIS REAR UNDER YOUR 65 ...THEN NO ONE MAKES GEARS FOR THIS REAR. oops had caps on...sorry.

ALL I can say is KEEP calling and showing interest MAYBE...JUST maybe we can push them...I told them to sell off the right to like a RANDY World WIDE so at least someone can manufacture them!!!
