idler arms

1970 DELTA 88 350 4 door. Does anyone know if they still make these parts... If so what is the part #?

Trying to get all the stuff that sitting in a garage for 14 years has done.

Tried to grease them and couldnt get any grease into nipple. Also hear a pop when turning the steering wheel all the way.

thank you in advance,
Kevin

Kanter sells new idler arms for $55, though I would simply replace the grease fitting first and try it again. When the fitting is out, check to see if the grease inside the joint is hard - you might be able to pick at it with a piece of copper wire or bamboo skewer to loosen it up before you put the new fitting back on. Once greased properly, check for side play to verify wear. Don't simply rely on noises to tell you what's bad.

And, if you would prefer N.O.S. Idler Arms and Center Links -- U.S. Made -- as opposed to the "repopped" overseas variety -- call me -- I don't have many N.O.S. U.S.A. remaining --
