I just filled my 50 Olds up and the fuel gauge registers empty. First time occurrance. Any suggestions for an easy fix?

Check your ground at the tank. If a 50 is like a 55 oldsmobile it has a Micky Mouse clamp to the gas line that is prone to corrosion and failure. Also if you have made any repairs to the fuel line that could interrupt the ground that will do it also. Best fix if that proves to be the problem is to make a new ground at the frame like most cars have..... Tedd
