Please I need help, I joined the original tachometer, originally from Starfire model of the console, but the needle always stops at 3000 rpm. Connected to the coil is correct? Thanks

if there is a problem in that the tachometer may be removed from six-cylinder engine. Can this be adjusted somehow?

The tach from the 66 to 67 is different. This is from the service manual for 1966.

If it came from a 6 cylinder engine, I couldn't find any provisions for adjustments in the manual.

My wife's tach stops at 2800 but that is because the guy that replaced the clock, got the clock in a little crooked (clock in middle of tach 1968) and the needle jams and I have to bump the dash gently to get it to release so maybe your needle is bent
