I have replaced the sending unit with a brand new one on my '66 Cutlass and it did not fix my fuel guage problem. Have cleaned the ground. Pulled the unit leqving it grounded, and moving the float up and down, the fuel guage seems to work perfectly. When the tank is full, the guage reads 3/4 and at about half a tank, it reads about 1/8. I am tempted to bend the float down. Any thoughts? Thanks!
