Horn Issue - In an 87 Brougham Steering Column
Looking for a diagram or explanation of how the horn contacts are grounded, and sit inside the steering column.
Had to tighten the column today and just confused on how the horn peices back together... It didnt work in the first place but if this isnt right it will never be working.
Any help out there?
Thanks

Actually... in looking at it...
The peice we were trying to fit in is not a horn contact but a chime for the ignition. It sits under the ignition peice (the cylinder that slides in to the column from the right) and is a contact for when the key is in the ignition and the chime goes off.
But one problem still remains:
We don't know where to put one last piece.
It is a small black tong peice, sort of like a contact, it is crimped at one end and I think it might work as a metal spring or something. By the time we find a response we may have figured it out, but please post if you have any ideas.
Thanks again.
