No high speed blower motor

No high speed blower motor

I have a 1973 olds 88 royal cpe with A/C and a 350 I have all of the blower motor speeds but HIGH, I am new to the older cars and am in need of advice on where to start, I have check the fuse box underneath the dash and all of the fuses are good, any starting point will be greatly appreciated. Steve

Inline 30A fuse along the firewall (engine side) between the horn relay and the fan high-speed relay, which is on the fiberglass evaporator housing.

If not the fuse, then one of the contacts in that line, the relay plug, or the relay itself.

I have a '65 with simular problem. Found the problem was a faulty blower switch. Hope you have better luck than I finding a replacement

You can often disassemble and clean the blower switch - just be sure to keep track of the direction that ALL the parts fit together!
