1969 Cutlass S Rocket 350 and WZ Manifolds

I'm wondering if WZ manifolds for my 1969 455 will bolt up and work with my 1969 350 2bl that currently sits in my Cutlass S. The 350 has single exhaust right now but I'm figuring I give the WZ manifolds to the muffler guy who then bolts them in place on the 350 with the flanges I've provided. He then runs dual exhaust to the trumpet tips that come out of the 442 bumper. Him and my brother say it could be done but to ask here first just to be sure

I'm trying to minimize a trip to the muffler shop once I get the 455 into the Cutlass. I take out the 350 and the WZ manifolds that are on it...slap them on the 455, adjust a wee bit the mufflers for the increased width of the block and bingo bango I'm done right? I know this probably sounds crazy but???

That would be nice to have the exhaust swap over, but I'm afraid the W/Z manifolds won't fit on your 350.

Many have tried, all have failed. The shorter deck of the SBO causes the BBO manifolds to hit the motor mounts, oil filter adapter, etc. Think about it, if this were possible, Olds would have used the W/Z manifolds on the W-31 instead of the run-of-the-mill SBO manifolds.

Thornton Reproductions has true dual exhaust manifolds for the SBO. They do not have the crossover provision.
