1970 442 bumpers
#3
I have heard good and bad, for my Cutlass when the time comes I'm willing to try one of them. For $300 some bucks its probably worth the try, many said in the past the chrome doesn't hold up but how many of our cars need to hold up in the weather. Around the Chicago area chroming prices are crazy - you could buy 2 -3 bumpers for the price of getting a good core re-chromed.

I just started collecting parts for my spring'18 (time to replace a few things on the Olds) tour. In addition to a new carpet and dynamat, I just took delivery on a rear bumper for my '71. It is a Golden Star from Tamraz. The cost was $285 with free shipping. Being on a budget, this beats the heck out of the $1000 I was quoted to get the original re-chromed.
Now my Olds is a driver, but to my untrained eye, the chrome looks good. No scratches or chips. I cant say for sure yet about the fitment but it appears strait.
