The big differences from the more common 1969-72 brakes are the four piston calipers, unique caliper mounting brackets and backing plates, and the two-piece rotors. All of these parts are now being repro'd, since they also fit Camaros. You might want to research the prices of the repro parts as a benchmark. As an example, the four piston calipers run about ten times what the single piston calipers sell for ($200 each vs. $20 each). Repro caliper brackets run about $135 a set vs. about $50 a set for the single piston brackets.

If someone wanted a dual piston setup it should bring 300-400.

I had a set for sale for several years and no one wanted them. I finally sold them for 150.00 and it was healthy rotors and clean no rust or pits Texas parts.

You may have better luck than I did!

Henry

I'm restoring my 67 to what I'd call ultimate stock, with every option I can find, but the discs I'm putting on it are the later ones. I suppose I'd be tempted by a complete correct 67 set, but I just know from seeing Corvette brakes how much of a pain they are.

Actually after I bought stainless sleeved calipers for my vette 9 years ago they have not leaked a drop and work flawlessly. I talked to Muskegon Brake about my 67 Olds calipers they will rebuild and stainless sleeve them for around 200 each if I remember correctly. I do plan on doing that in the future.
