Beefing up rear end

I have a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass GT. I'm trying to put a 455 engine in it, my question is what all will I have to do to my car to make my rear end handle all the new power?

You probably have the 7.5 rear in there. If you can find one, get an 8.5 from an 84 and up g-body like the 442, or grand national.

If you don't find a deal on an 8.5, Quick Performance and others make drop in Type F ten bolts (aka 9" Ford).
