Could someone near Flint, MI look at a wagon for me?

This one... http://flint.craigslist.org/cto/3255267907.html

I was very serious about this one but after so many questions and requests for photos, the owner seemed to deem me as a pest and would no longer send me the info I wanted. As a result, I gave up.
I still like this one, especially the recent gold paint job and straight body.

I wanted to see how good the interior is. It is dirty but will it clean up well? We all know wagon stuff is not reproduced.

How is all the weatherstrip?

Is there any signs of rust around the roof windows and windshield area? One picture showed what seemed to be rust at the W/S under the right side and top trim but could not tell for sure.
The tailgate rust I can deal with and repair.
This would be a daily driver, so it would need to be rust free in problematic areas.

Is the true color of it gold or greenish gold? I think the grass made it look green.

How does the undercarriage look? I think it is okay but need to be sure.

I would be willing to send some beer money for their time and trouble.

Thanks!

Rob, I believe that color to be Burnished Gold, code 58.

I remember back in the day seeing a Chevelle SS on a dealership lot in that color with black stripes. Aome black hood stripes would really make that car pop!

Do you have any contact info for the owner? I may be able to do something tomorrow.

That is a nice looking wagon, and see why you like it. Personally though, if the seller's giving you the brush off, really not a good sign. I've sold cars over the year's, with some potential buyers being a bit pesty. I've alway's cooperated with them anyway I could though, as wanting to sell. What does the guy expect, from someone over 1000 miles away. I'm also in the Detroit area, and could go along with Chris, as worked on cars for a long time. Can't say I'm any 70' wagon expert though. Curious of the 350 engine too, as thought most of the large cars back then, came with 455's out of the factory.

It looks nice. It is a Cutlass wagon, not the big wagon, so a 350 was probably the standard engine with 455 optional. Does it hav A/C?

This wagon originally came with a 455 but was replcaed with a 350 a while back. It is nastly looking under the hood but he says it runs good. It has about 110k miles on everything but the engine, which is unknown. Also it leaks from various places but he claims just a couple drops a day. Has factory air but not working.
Here are more pictures of it.

I am not looking for factory correctness in this, but just a nice, reliable daily driver that will not require a lot of work. If there is any rot around any windows, then I pass. I do not do body and paint work.
I have his contact info somewhere - I will try to find it.
Here is the ad that he first posted with email addy.

If anyone can see it in person and look it over for big potential problems I would be grateful.
Thanks!

If you're still interested in the car, and the guy still has it, I'll go check it out for you.
