Factory Color Roadblock
Ok. I had a guy at a World of Wheels car show tell me that judging on original Exterior/interior color is critical. I have a 67 442 under frame off restoration. Paint time is getting close.
My mom is the original owner, so history is spot on. Exterior was Cameo Ivory. I know for a fact that the interior steel was also Cameo Ivory, with dark gold metallic upper dash, parchment bench seat, dark gold carpet, with white/parchment like vinyl trim. According the the assembly manual and sales literature that I have found on the Internet, the VIN starting with 33817 and color code 984-C is Cameo Ivory exterior with Champagne interior trim. Nothing in the interior was a champagne color. I am comparing to the color chart for 67 Oldsmobile.
What would you do?
