Help with Engine ID stamp
Hello, I am about to do a rebuild of my engine but wanted to double check that it was the original before starting. The numbers tell me it is the original. However I know the letter in the stamp tells you where it was built. Can anyone tell me what an E stands for. I did some searching and couldn't find it. I am just curious. Here are my numbers
VIN 342670E195130
Engine stamp 30E195130
VIN 342670E195130
Engine stamp 30E195130

no not yet but did get that info from another member. Thanks for the answer on the E.
Regarding the chassis service manual, I have a manual for a 77 cutlass would that work for the rebuild on a 1970? Or are there too many differences?
