hello guys
about 4 months ago I had an accident with my Olds, I just placed the TH 400 and I changed the governor, I went out to try the car at an intersection and a car I got on him breaking the wheel and fender, molding and tie rod and brake drum.
Thank you so much Jay C.O. that helped me find the parts and another member of CO I sold the drum.

are waiting for the arrival of drum brake because what I was corrupt and wrong turns. Olds, however, I'll change that part then reassembled when the new one arrives.

Man, you do good metal work! I thought the fender would need replacing! Of course being in Italy and the low popularity of that model would mean hard to get...
Glad you got it all fixed up and ready to cruise again. Those Delmonts are sweet cars!

I was afraid that the damage was huge and I could not get out of Olds.
Then when I saw the damage I started to cry then I got busy and now I'm almost ready.

Even if you were able to buy a repop fender, you would probably would have had to do the same amount of work just to get it to fit...

No, no repops made for the Delmont (that I know of.) You did the best thing to fix your old one!

I'm picking up some pictures of my hot rod project to make a video to put on you tube, I'm doing a replica of a 32 ford Rodster I built the frame and now I'm building parts of the body

The Italians have a long tradition of fine metalworking and bodywork is basically the same thing.
I try to channel my Italian side when I'm doing bodywork but after awhile my German side takes over and I start getting too technical.
Hand any guy on the street in Italy few sheets of aluminum and after a couple of hours of beating and banging he'll hand you back the body for a Ferrari.

it's my job since I was a kid I was 13, I started with my grandfather to build motorcycles tanks Sertum 30 years and Moto Guzzi then I continued with my dad work of gates and windows and in my spare time I continued my passion and now I do all day, chop tops, harley davidson frames, a bit of everything is the motoring world.
