I have a 1970 455 making around 550HP
I have a 7 Qt Oil pan and I would like to know what you guys would put in
I have been using 20/50w and want your opinions

The motor is 11.1 compression if that matters

There are a great many threads, with a great many of opinions with reference to oils on here if you do a search. If your oil pressures are good and your engine likes it continue doing what you've been doing. It depends greatly on whether you are using a F/T cam or roller, type of oil pump, and engine clearances.

that's just what I would run, there are a lot of opinions out there on motor oil these days. if you already ran synthetic don't switch to non synthetic as rotella is not synthetic, rotella can hold a big cummins or a Detroit, cat etc together I think its good for us small motors!!

X's 2… I run Rotella in my 70 Cutlass. Got the idea from my grandpa ( who was a logger by trade ). He runs it in his 89' GMC plow truck and has since it was new. Has well over 200k on it.
