New addition to the stable

Just wanted to post up my latest addition. For those that know me, I have a 64 Cutlass and a 65 442 post car all ready. I was lucky enough to buy my good friends, 1970 Rallye 350. The car has been owned by Joe Baca for the past 20 years. It is a Cutlass Hardtop 4 speed car. Joe had maintained this car for many years and a few years ago had BTR racing engines out of NY build him an Olds 350 monster for this car. I have the original 350 that will be rebuilt and eventually go back in the Rallye. This car is so fun to drive and people just stare not really knowing what it is. My thanks to Joe for allowing me to be the next caretaker! I recently relocated to Nevada from California, so the cars are in storage while I'm currently working on building my dream shop to house all these cars and room for more. Below are some current photos of them and more will follow as I make progress on the shop.

OK, now I know why I didn't see Joe at the Goodguys yesterday.

Hi Harv.
Good to see your still going to the shows. I know Joe didn't want to sell it, but he is planning for his retirement.
Take care of yourself.

Status Update for the Stable

Well, its been 5 months and getting settled. Plans are in the works for the new shop (30x40) and backyard landscaping work to start next week. Hoping to have usable space before the first snow. Here is the blank slate we're starting with. More updates as they happen.

Nice collection! I would love to have BTR build up the 455 that I have in my 64 F85.

Hello Steve,
Place looks awesome.
My shop is 50x50 and it is full, i for sure need to stop bringing them home.
This coming summer, I will have to take a road trip.

Hope all is good, and the move is going smooth.

New Rocket Garage Almost complete

Hi all,
Been a busy 5 months but things are finally winding down. The shop is almost complete and the Landscapers say they have about 6 weeks left, if the weather cooperates. A new 4 post lift has been ordered and will be delivered once the drive way to the back is complete. If you want to see the Start to Finish updates, see my YouTube channel at Spo's Rocket Garage.

All three great cars. Very nice. The Rallye 350 has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. That yellow just jumped right out of the magazines and is such a cool aggressive looking machine.

All the rockets are home!

Just a quick update. Made 3 trips this weekend and got all the cars back home to the new shop. Glad to have them back together after being in storage for the past year. Time to get them set up in the shop and make sure they survived the past year.

Nice garage. Nice line up. For me I would mothball the original 350 and keep the built motor in the Rallye 350. Thanks for sharing.
