Oai air cleaner

I have an OAI air cleaner, but I'm not sure if it is a factory original or a reproduction. How can you tell?

Assuming you mean an Oldsmobile product, what year and model?

Which part(s) of the "Air Cleaner" are you asking about? There's the steel base, the steel lid, and the plastic "adapter" which gets wedged between the base and hood. On the adapter, there's also the flapper door and the vacuum motor which closes the flapper. All of these are often missing and thus replaced.

I needed to be more specific. I am asking about the plastic assembly that includes the flapper and vacuum motor. The one that I have is good condition, which makes me wonder if it is a reproduction. I would like to know if it is original or a reproduction in order to determine the value. I would like to sell this.

I recall jensenn77 posted about a hinge difference between the originals and repros. I’d rather the difference tho
