Olds stamped in the trunk pan...???

Working on the car today I found Olds stamped into the bottom of my trunk pan is this normal I have never heard of it?
Lansing built car with original floors

yeah ............ a post 66 4 speed 442 I`m all over that like white on rice...... prob other side of the country though

I found "olds" stamped in the d.s., inner 1/4 filler of my 78.Can see it from underneath, it's backwards.

speaking of Oldsmobile. On a 69 442, it doesn't say Oldsmobile anywhere on the car. I guess your spose to know.

Try finding "Oldsmobile" on a 70 442 as well. Only if you have an early W30 will you find it on the manifold. Oh and maybe on the radio.
