Syracuse Nationals 2022

Anyone going?
I am dragging the wife up there for Sat-Sun
Any tips from the veterans?

Tim

get there early and prepare to walk a lot. The crowds on weekends are usually crazy. I usually try to go Friday but I’m not going this year

Say "hi" to the AutoGear crew for me. Their place is right next door. I was going to go, then fuel prices went stoopid.

Being local I usually go both Friday and Saturday. The crowds are typically easier on Friday. I haven't been on Sunday, I imagine things wind down a bit. Should be a good event this year. Typically good participation from Ontario and the border is now open.

Overall its a great event, so many cars you can't appreciate them all. Primarily just have to stroll by most of them.

Do post pictures for us that can't be there in person.

Thanks for the pics. They saved me from going....lol

I think this was probably one of the first years I remember that it didn't rain. I went last year on Saturday and it was pouring rain.

A bevy of beauties! Thanks for sharing! I particularly like the red 4-4-2 (third from last).

I never seem to take many pictures. With 7000+ vehicles there I should have many more than this handful:

Candy Clark (American Graffiti, foreground) and Shirley Muldowney

Chevrolet/Pontiac Beaumont
